LA’s tamales

Went for a run in the morning fog at the Silver Lake reservoir and made a stop at Alberto’s Tamales in Echo Park before returning home. Came back with a dozen frozen tamales (Mixed bag of Chicken w/ Green Sauce, Chicken w/ Mole, Pork, Cheese & Jalapeno, Pineapple, and beans) as well as a thing of piping hot Pozole and Quesadilla de Huitlacoche. I love LA and the fact that you can pick something like this up so easily at any random mom and pops shops throughout, especially on the east side. It’s not an everyday breakfast for me, but today it hit the spot!
